Research at the Institute for Old Catholic Studies focuses above all on four core areas: Church History, Systematic Theology, Liturgy Studies and Ecumenical Theology.
Our research is conducted with international partners and we have various collaborations with researchers elsewhere in Switzerland and abroad. Several researchers are adjunct researchers, for example Prof. Dr. Dr. Douglas Pratt, Prof. Dr. Charlotte Methuen and Doz. Dr. Mattijs Ploeger.
From 2013 until 2016, Prof. em. Dr. Klaus Rohmann was an adjunct researcher.
